Kaycie Says
Posted on December 29th, 2009 No commentsMaybe it’s because she’s family, but we gotta say, the kid is funny. Take a click-trip to read about some of her wisdom.

Can You Say Happy Holidays?
Posted on December 29th, 2009 No commentsOK, it’s always fun during the holidays because, let’s face it, families belong together and children and their smiles are the glue that holds us all together. See more pictures on Big Casey’s Picasa site. Or, check out these photos that Bob Milewski took at our Christmas Party on the 13th.

This Can Happen To U2
Posted on September 25th, 2009 2 comments
Jen and Patrick made the rounds of the U2 concerts in the area. Two in Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, and one at Giant Stadium in New Jersey. All within a single week. They had VIP tickets for the last concert and hung around the area where the band would arrive. Sure enough, Bono got out of the car, came around the corner, and for two minutes, greeted fans. Patrick caught it all on video and pulled this still out. The brown hair in the foreground is Jen’s and we can only imagine the smile on her face at the moment. -
Congratulations to Chris and Karen
Posted on July 20th, 2009 1 commentJuly 18: It was a wonderful weekend for a wedding and, for sure, a couple wonderful people took advantage of that exact thing. This year’s weather pattern has had cool nights and comfortable days, but there have been some afternoon thunder showers teasing everyone for the few days before. Karen and Chris hit the jackpot, however. The storms decided to visit in the early morning hours and left the rest of the day perfect – picture perfect. Speaking of picture perfect, Art, Jeanne, Caz, and Patrick did the heavy lifting with photo and video services. It looked like a movie set. There were lots of other cameras in use, too, so Chris and Karen will have a lot of images to remember the day.

Kaycie’s Graduation
Posted on June 13th, 2009 No comments
Kaycie's poster announcing what she wants to be when she grows up, a Queen.
Big news for June is always about all the graduations going on throughout the area and our own Kaycie, all of almost five now, managed a nicely done walk to pick up her diploma from the Arbor Preschool in Chicopee. She’s now ready for the big time…kindergarten.

Rock’n'Roll Again
Posted on May 19th, 2009 No commentsCasey is getting back into the “swing” of things by getting involved in an old guy rock band. The first public performance is slated for noon on May 30th at the Mary Queen Of Rosaries Bazar in Spencer. The band has the noon to 1 PM time slot with lots of other performers to follow in the afternoon. It should be a fun event.
The band is called the 55s and we even have our own website. Just click on the photo to get there. We are working on a song list of oldies from the 60’s on up to some more contemporary classics. Nope. We aren’t songwriters so there’s no original material (yet).

Kaycie, Jen, and Ooma – Mothers Day
Posted on May 10th, 2009 No commentsKaycie spent the night in Spencer and Ooma (Lee) and she had the usual mix of fun and affection. What a nice gift for a nice pair of Mom’s. Jen, of course, had the night off (part of the gift) and she and Patrick went out on the town. Kaycie ruled the roost in Spencer (how can we say no to anything she asks)…and for lunch, we headed to Chicopee for a proper Mom’s Day celebration which Jen helped organize. Good food!!! …oh, and we got a chance to catch one of Kaycie’s soccer games, too…

We Be Bloggin’
Posted on May 6th, 2009 No commentsWe’re changing things up a bit. Some of our old stuff will still be available here…

Why blogging? …it’s just an easier way to keep things up-to-date. We can take advantage of technologies that someone else had to develop (easier for us, cool).
